Back from Ottawa
I took these pictures on the way back from Ottawa. The trip back was boring so I started playing with my camera for a bit and ended up with these.

My Blue Untitled

I finally had the design turn to something more interesting than clean line and colors. I'll be honest, I can't spend too much time cleaning a drawing. I feel disconnected from my work doing so and eventually mess up in the final. I like the nice sketchy line with an explosion of colors :) Here's a WIP of the poster.

Burning Man Poster
The burning man poster was a fake project for my illustration class and one that took a while to complete. The theme was human/nature. the relationship between both... not to mistake with the trendy "green" themes. for the process click here

The 150 Word Essay
Everything starts with a hint of confusion, not knowing how it’s going to start or how it’s going to end. And it all starts with a story. A story that needs to be told. A story so strong that it, often disguised inside other tales, has never been forgotten from the face of the earth. A story so powerful that it has inspired every narrative. In every account you read you will see its mark; you see its influence and the steps that is has taken toward perfection. A story so powerful that it has changes the course of our lives. It’s the story of a young man and it‘s the tale of a young woman, whose choices and decisions have changed the course of humanity. Whose success and failure were humanity best and worst moments. It is the story of - oups! I just got to 150 words. sorry!

Sparrows at Nathan Phillips Square
I took these while we (me and Ahmed) were at Nathan Phillips Square for the Manifesto concert. The concert sucked, and the only person I enjoyed at the concert was K'naan.

Got
the whole concept is a narrative image that u follow while listening to MosDef song "got" .
there is a transition in space & time but also in the life of the characters that evolve in the city. from left to right.
the full size of the piece when i printed it was 7 or 8 11x17 papers put next to each other. i was fucking huge.
i had to color the thing in three separate files and when i put it all together it just kept on crashing my mac... man it was so heavy...
so what do you think about it?

Water
Hey guys, I though I'd post something before I get very busy again.
Here are some pictures from a water fountain near my school. I find water to be extremely fascinating when photographing it, its never the same, ever!
I wish I had a camera with higher shutter speed :(

Hey guys, this blog has been pretty empty over the summer, I guess it was because most people were working and had no time. Hopefully this blog will start up again.

Death of a Magician
what would the funeral of a magician look like?
well here's my take... whats yours?
ball point ink on paper.
the black composition in the back of this piece was also in the original piece. the paper was cut and placed on a black cardboard for the effect...
oh and everything was drawn one shot ... no designing and stuff. straight to final result. (that's what happens when u leave it for the last minute)
btw i think its almost time for me to post the big piece on mos def... soon.... just cant wait... i'm sure you'll like it!

Sunrise
These are taken near the lake where I live. They are taken around 5:30 am. Sunrises are one of the everyday wonders which some of us fail to observe.
